WELCOME DAY 25/26: Essay and assignment writing

This in-person workshop provides an overview of the process of essay and assignment writing.
We will briefly consider:
· how to analyse the question or brief
· how to approach your research and reading
· how to create an essay plan and structure for your assignment
· how to tackle the first draft
This online workshop will take place on Microsoft Teams.
All our workshops are repeated numerous times throughout the academic year. The resources and a recording of this workshop will be available in the Writing Resources section of the Birkbeck Study Skills Moodle module.
